The Band: Asylum

NOW PLAYING..........REMEMBER by ASYLUM

ASYLUM was started by members Coosh, Glenn and Drew in 2003 in Tenby and Pembroke Dock.  Over the years many members came and went along the search for the perfect members to complete the line-up.

There dedication forced them to move to Manchester to turn there childhood dream into a reality.  Finding drummer Floyd in 2005 and finishing the line-up with vocalist Azz in 2006, ASYLUM was complete!  Combining all there separate influences into one unique sound, producing a heavy yet melodic style of Fresh Metal.

What the music critics say!!!!

"Asylum won there place with their nu-metal sound reminiscent of Korn and the like. They had a great look and were extremely comfortable on stage." - Bodog Music

''Asylum are a great band that during the last year has been constantly improving: great material and stage presence, nothing will stop them now from becoming a force to be reckoned with!'' - UK unsigned

ASYLUM JEWELLERY

Glynis was originally inspired with this range of Jewellery by her son Drew and many of his friends.  Asylum is the name of his rock band and they are based in Manchester with a growing fan base even as far away as the USA.  Their style is that of Heavy Melodic Nu-Metal.  When Glynis opened her first Jewellery shop, the band as it was then used to rehearse in the basement.  During their breaks in rehearsal they would escape to the shop and start making bracelets from memory wire and Haematite Beads, proudly wearing their final product.

Friends of the band and young ladies into the more Gothic look started asking for jewellery typically made from Haematite with maybe a slight hint of red.  Glynis recognised what was being asked for and the Asylum range was created and is still very popular for both men and ladies looking for something very original and very different.

Our thanks to Sara and Katrina for spending an enjoyable afternoon modelling some of the jewellery featured on this section of the site.........and NO Sara you cannot keep the genuine "Bus Stop" jacket.....that must remain one of Glyn's special treasures.
